I have to leave my lovely home after nearly 20 years as I need to down-size. It is not an easy thing to do as it is loved not only by myself and my husband but our numerous grandchildren and friends.
When I came to look at the property back in 1990 I felt a warm and friendly feeling the minute I walked in through the door. Even when living here alone I found it comforting and safe.
There are no neighbours in the immediate vicinity so it fitted my purpose as a dog breeder. Even so due to its elevation you look over Evesham so you do not feel cut off from civilisation. The views are spectacular which sometimes makes coffee and tea breaks a long job when sitting outside on warm day.
The swimming pool is not large but wonderful on a hot summer’s day when you are hot and bothered. The hot tub and the steam room are very relaxing after a hard days work too.
The lay out of the house is unusual and the rooms all very spacious. It is a six bedroom house but we find using just four is suitable for us and we use the attic rooms (which are in good decorative order) for storage. This saves having to climb into the roof space struggling to find stuff.
If you do not require all the acreage available it is very easy to rent out and the large barn can be used for most purposes too. It can be quite a good source of income.
Down side: There are pylons in the adjoining fields.
Up side: A beautiful place to live, a place you will never want to leave.
